Management supports the program’s success by providing the necessary resources including proper safety equipment, safety training and safe work procedures.
It is the philosophy of the management of Shel-Bar Electronic Industries that every employee is entitled to a safe work environment, free from foreseeable hazards that may result in property damage, accidents, or personal injury/illness.
It is our objective that all management functions will comply with legislative (OH&S) safety requirements as they relate to planning, operation and maintenance of facilities and equipment. It is also our goal that all employees will perform their jobs properly in accordance with established procedures and safe work practices, ensuring a positive injury free workplace.
Employees at every level, including management, supervisors and workers, are all equally responsible and accountable for the company’s overall safety initiatives. Complete and active participation by everyone, every day, in every job is necessary for the safety excellence the company expects.
All management and employees will be equally responsible for minimizing accidents in and out of our facilities. Safe work practices and procedures will be clearly defined in the Shel-Bar Health and Safety Manual for all to follow.
